Settings not avaiable in offline mode, And in unable to play downloaded media in external player

Hi

 

Im having two issues

 

I have just downloaded some videos for my tablet, but when the tablet are offline and i select "My downloads" and i then try to play them using a external player (VLC) then player starts, but exits immediately.

So a wanted to change to the internal player, but when i press the settings button then i get the lite with Homescreen, playback and so on, but notinhs happens when i press them, only Camara upload seems to work. If i go online then it works.. And im allso able to play the downloaded videos when usin the internal player..

 

Im running 3.0.16

You could have your external player monitor the folder emby for android syncs too, then play it directly through the external app forgoing the emby app altogether when offline.

Thats what I have been doing with MediaMonkey as my external player.
