Watching HEVC content on any of my iOS devices (iOS 12, iPhone X / iPad Pro) with the iOS app causes them to transcode, however, if I use the safari web browser on the same devices they direct play. Is there a reason for this? Do you know what would cause this to happen? Any advice is appreciated.
