FelR 0 Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 Hi folks, Telekom Germany allows you to have streaming video and music not counted against your mobile data limit. Therefore you have to register as content provider and provide them with details how your actual streaming traffic shall be distinguished from other traffic to your domain. The options they allow are different IPs, different domains (SNIs) or different ports. Can this be achieved somehow with emby? Thank you Felix
Luke 42085 Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 Hi there, have you explored our strm file feature?
FelR 0 Posted September 20, 2018 Author Posted September 20, 2018 Sorry, I think you misinterpreted my question. I want streaming from my server not to be counted against my mobile data limit. For that Telekom requires the actual audio / video stream to be delivered form a different domain than the user interface. For example https://emby.example.org for user interface and https://emby-streams.example.org for the actual stream. I know it's a very uncommon question, but is this possible? Thank you.
Luke 42085 Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 In some cases, but not all, strm files can help you do that.
