Scheduled task (time limit)

Currently running v3.6.0.41

 

Setting a schedule task for scanning the library, if also set a time limit, the scan doesn't stop after the time limit.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong, but time limit should stop the task?

 

Example

 

Run task at 12.00am (time limit 1 hour)

 

Task should stop at 1am?

It depends on how it was triggered. If it was triggered by the periodic trigger that you've configured, then the limit will apply. If it was triggered for any other reason, then it won't.

I set a test schedule today, waited till that time come, it ran... I had set a limit for 1 hour, and it's still scanning 2 hours later.

Are you certain you've configured the time limit?
