warclowd 0 Posted September 14, 2018 Posted September 14, 2018 Hi there, So i get the error So far i've tried. Opening TCP/UDP 8096 & 8290 on my router as well as windows firewall advanced settings. Running a Virus Scan Public ports work ok on canyouseeme.org I can connect using the in home LAN access via my desktop browser by typing in the IP address. However this doesn't work on my phone thats on the same network, as soon as I turn off wifi and use data it's able to connect. The same occurs when trying to use the iOS app to connect. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Luke 42083 Posted September 14, 2018 Posted September 14, 2018 Hi, are you sure you're using the correct local network ip address?
ebr 16187 Posted September 14, 2018 Posted September 14, 2018 Yeah, if it is working on cellular, then WAN access (port routing) is not your problem. Sounds like maybe the wrong local address or something blocking it locally.
d00zah 149 Posted September 14, 2018 Posted September 14, 2018 (edited) You might want to check your router's wireless configuration for a setting called (something like) 'AP Isolation'. If enabled, wireless LAN clients are only allowed WAN access, not to other LAN clients. Just a thought. https://www.google.com/search?q=AP+Isolation Edited September 14, 2018 by d00zah
