emby metadata folder location not updating for all artist metadata

I updated my library metadata folder location..

 

Did a Replace all Metadata/images on the music library..

 

It does the scan, but i'm still seeing artists using the old metadata folder location, some artists are using the new location.

 

I delete the entire music library, and scan library (to get the database clean)

 

I search for the artist that metadata path did not change, and cannot find them using global search in emby. (this is expected because the library with the artist is now gone)

 

I re-add the music library, Wait for meta data to populate, go back to artist in question and the metadata folder location still is the original /var/lib/emby/metadata (Has not updated).

 

Not sure what else to try other then re-installing emby, or maybe changing the location back.

 

On the latest verison 3.5.2.0, and have restarted the server a couple of times during testing, i've also tried replacing metadata directly on the artist it does nothing to update the path.

Okay ill have to edit it to take out info, but at first glance i can see it deleting all the artists that are dead.. But it doesn't delete the artist in question, so that would mean something is still referencing that artist, but a global search in emby the artist doesn't show up.

 

That artist has to be in the database still, not sure how else we can delete it without going into the database directly.

Okay i got API access working, and i see i have 42 artists still in the database, i shouldn't have any because i have NO music library.. Here is the artist in question. Again i search for this artist in the webgui i get nothing..

Alright so if i call Items/Counts.. I get 30 song count, even though i have 0 music libraries.. I can't find any API calls that will list what the songs are, and the actual location of them.

I just upgraded to the latest beta and basically am starting from scratch ( I deleted the library database file to get rid of the songs).. It looks like the fanart.tv https issue is what i'm running into now.

 

At first glance the music seems pretty much the same on the webgui side, i guess your referring to backend changes.
