Question about transcode

Hello, 

 

I'm working on small project to create an angular 6 emby client. So far everything is working fine when i direct stream an item.

My question is how can I request to transcode the item?

 

I noticed in emby client that you guys do a post call to /items/${id}/playback with device profile as a payload

And in the response there is a transcodeUrl. I did the same but i never got the transcodeUrl property. Am I missing something?

just figured it out . I forgot to add the content type to the headers
