jellelle 3 Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 (edited) Hi all, I have a couple of downloaded podcast I wish to add to Emby, but I can't find a way to display them the way I want (displayed like Tvshows). So I made some screens in Photoshop of what I would like (if possible) and how I should create my folder structure. Podcasts Overview: Tracks inside a podcast: My folder structure is now: Podcasts --Podcast Title ----Podcast Title - s01e01 - Title.ext ----Podcast Title - s01e01 - Title-thumb.jpg (doesn't get recognized) // (embedded images get recognized) ----Podcast Title - s01e01 - Title.nfo (doesn't get recognized) ----folder.jpg ----album.nfo (doesn't get displayed) <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?> <album> <review>Info about the podcast.</review> </album> Any ideas? Jelle PS: love that Emby for music is getting better! Good job guys! Edited September 11, 2018 by jellelle
ebr 16187 Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 Put your last level of items into a "Season 1" folder.
jellelle 3 Posted September 11, 2018 Author Posted September 11, 2018 (edited) Put your last level of items into a "Season 1" folder. That didn't work for me: I also tried to use the same file structure as a TV Show (tvshow.nfo / title.nfo / title-thumb.jpg) but that doesn't work either. What should be in the *.nfo files to get it displayed properly? And how should the filename of the thumbs be named? Edited September 11, 2018 by jellelle
jellelle 3 Posted September 11, 2018 Author Posted September 11, 2018 I've added what I've got here: https://we.tl/t-1X13T1bqdV

jellelle 3 Posted September 11, 2018 Author Posted September 11, 2018 (edited) What library content type did you use? Audio Books Edited September 11, 2018 by jellelle
Solution Luke 42083 Posted September 11, 2018 Solution Posted September 11, 2018 Ok so none of the nfo or image files that you've just mentioned are going to be supported. those are specific to tv and music libraries. 1

Luke 42083 Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 Yes, using the same name as the media file.
Luke 42083 Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 Actually sorry that's for image only, nfo is not supported at this time. It relies on embedded metadata. 1
ebr 16187 Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 Sorry, I assumed since you were trying to setup your podcasts to behave just like a TV series that you had used the TV or mixed content type. 1
jellelle 3 Posted September 11, 2018 Author Posted September 11, 2018 Actually sorry that's for image only, nfo is not supported at this time. It relies on embedded metadata. Image-files don't get displayed. I have tried title.jpg / tile-thumb.jpg / changing the settings... Only embedded artwork works. In what part of the metadata can I add the plot of an episode?
Luke 42083 Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 Embedded metadata is the same as you would for an audio file, so you can tag the same way. 1
