sector327 4 Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 This should be an easy one! (finally.....sector327 comes up w/ something easy....I know...about time) Recently I deleted my media library entries (was experimenting...always experimenting) and then set them back up. (I was playing w/ if I could set up nfs connections to the nas holding the libraries instead of smb connections.) anyways, I went back to the smb connections as I'm still experimenting w/ auto mount of the nas, etc, etc. The database had to rescan and re-download all the pictures, background stuff, ( I think extract the chapters too). No biggie. All is good except for a handful of movies that don't appear to show the covers at all (just black boxes) in the Poster view when browsing the library. I think, ok just add the images. I right click the blank posted, edit images and I'm surprised to find the poster, logo, thumb and backdrop are all there. but for some odd reason, some (about 2%) of the movies are like that. I've done scans via Refresh metadata (both scan for new files as well as the search for missing metadata) the poster covers never seem to appear when looking through the library. But remember, they ARE there because when I go to add the missing images, I see they're all downloaded. any idea on something simple to do? (only a few movies so not a big problem) also only seen on Poster & Poster card views
sector327 4 Posted September 10, 2018 Author Posted September 10, 2018 bumping just to maintain visibility. also something I've seen is that my Chrome browser no longer allows a scroll of the main admin page. (it still scrolls in firefox though.) I wonder if its just a chrome browser issue. Chrome browser version is: Version 69.0.3497.81 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Happy2Play 9789 Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 Have you tried clearing your browser cache?
sector327 4 Posted September 11, 2018 Author Posted September 11, 2018 Have you tried clearing your browser cache? well it appears I fixed it. I actually changed how I mounted the shared folders on the lan and deleted & set up the new shares. All good now! And thanks Luke for reminding me about the logs. I just didnt think that would be "log worthy" so I didnt bother. I'll watch it more in the future.
