If, however, the internal one is marked default, then that will have priority. I think this is the issue here, some movie files have the subtitle track marked as default and thus it can give issues. I have problems with some movies having subtitles that cause the movie to fail to play. If its marked as default even when I have external subs then its a problem. It embarrasingly happened once when a movie failed to play when a friend came over until I figured out what it was. Having a setting to ignore all embedded subs per library would eliminate the issue entirely, as I said previousl - Jellyfin has it and people are pretty happy, hope we can have it too
