Live TV

My wife is on my case. I had Live tv working fine for months. After a recent update, it will play live tv fine for a couple days, then wont play. After a restart, it works fine again. i have the haug(however you spell it) 4 tuner card running NextPVR. works fine on nextpvr, but just dies on emby. im using the next pvr plugin, not the built in emby thing, cause it would only allow one stream. Also i move the cache folder to c drive, so i don't think im running out of space. Help?

Hi i am having the same problem but not using tuner card on the server using M3U files 

 my tuner cards are on a separate server on the local lan 

it was fine when i was running Server 3.4.2.0 then i updated to 3.5.2.0 and emby would not start at all so wiped everything to do with Emby and reinstalled fresh 3.5.2.0 and now i have this problem runs fine for a couple of days then no live TV everything else works

What you are doing and what is happening?

 

When you submit a log, we need to know what you did and what happened during that log session (and when) in order to investigate your issue.

problem is after a day or two Emby Server will not play any live TV the server seems to be running fine just when you click on a live tv channel it just turns round and round but no TV i have to restart the server and then it works fine again for a day or two till the next time it does the same thing on all the apps that i have tried plus though the Web Browser , videos work fine all the time no problem

 

Ps i just updated to 3.5.3.0 to soon to tell if it works yet

How do you (or your users) stop playing Live TV and what app(s) do they use?

just click the back button

apps used are Emby Android TV,   Emby Android Mobile and FireFox  ,and Google Chrome and Emby for Apple TV

 

however i cant guarantee that all the other users click the back button all of the time

that may be a bit difficult with like 50 or more people using the server every 24Hr 

but i will see what i can do
