I went for the nuclear option last night. Completely uninstalled emby. Installed beta. No stability issues coming up yet.

It seems my eagerness to suggest this is sorted... was a bit eager. As soon as I went to watch something just now. The same issues came up again.

I was able to eliminate the issue with Anime movies completely by renaming one folder from "Ranma ½" to just "Ranma". Looks like emby does not like filenames with Unicode fractions in it. I have not seen any crashes since then. I guess it it may be worth a look. Interesting that I have no issues with national characters which I use a lot.

Thanks for the feedback. This should be resolved for the next release of the server.

I have also narrowed down the issue with crashing on Vikings due to Alex Høgh Andersen. I bet "ø" is causing this. Removing actor solves the issue.

Is this a server language or OS issue?  As I have this actor with original spelling on English Windows server without issue.
