wp.rauchholz 5 Posted September 5, 2018 Posted September 5, 2018 I run emby Version 3.5.2.0 and CENTOS 7 home server latest update. The DLNA feature is activated: Enable 'DLNA Play To' is set, but no specific profile defined for the speakers I can 'see' my loudspeakers in the network from my Windows laptop as well from the command line. Command 'nmap -sn 10.5.2.0/24Nmap scan report for 10.5.2.170' results in: Host is up (0.081s latency). MAC Address: 88:4A:EA:6F:B5:DB (Unknown) command 'ping 10.5.2.170' PING 10.5.2.170 (10.5.2.170) 56(84) bytes of data. 64 bytes from 10.5.2.170: icmp_seq=1 ttl=64 time=2.74 ms 64 bytes from 10.5.2.170: icmp_seq=2 ttl=64 time=5.64 ms 64 bytes from 10.5.2.170: icmp_seq=3 ttl=64 time=3.95 ms What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your help, Wolfgang
wp.rauchholz 5 Posted September 5, 2018 Author Posted September 5, 2018 Not sure what exactly you mean, but these speaker used to work in the past and I could stream via emby. I had just not used this feature in a very long time. A copy from the following Yamaha web-page: https://usa.yamaha.com/products/contents/audio_visual/musiccast/faqs.html Does MusicCast support DLNA and Network Attached Storage (NAS) drives?Yes. All MusicCast devices support DLNA, allowing access to DLNA-compatible computers and network attached storage (NAS) devices. Another one form a product review: The WX-010 is a wireless speaker from Yamaha’s MusicCast multiroom range that streams music via DLNA, Bluetooth, AirPlay, Spotify and more.Read more at https://www.trustedreviews.com/reviews/yamaha-wx-010 Wolfgang
Luke 42077 Posted September 14, 2018 Posted September 14, 2018 So you're saying they just don't show up in emby server?
wp.rauchholz 5 Posted September 14, 2018 Author Posted September 14, 2018 (edited) This is correct. Forgot to mention in problem statement that port 1900/UDP is open on my internal network. Wolfgang Edited September 14, 2018 by wp.rauchholz
