TonkaTuff 9 Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 Hiya. Just trying out the new Auto-Organize functionality and I'm having a problem. I guess I'm doing something wrong. In this example, the episodes are not be orgainsed with MB3 reporting "unable to determine series name". The series name is in the file name and is an existing series in my collection as can be seen in the screenshots. Help appreciated. Cheers, TT - -
Solution Starlionblue 82 Posted April 7, 2014 Solution Posted April 7, 2014 I think there are two issues here. The series name is not separated from the episode name by a full stop so MB3 cannot determine whether it is "Hannibal" or "Hannibal 203" The episode number does not follow one of the common nomenclatures. It is neither s02e03 nor 2x03. 1
TonkaTuff 9 Posted April 7, 2014 Author Posted April 7, 2014 Well, that's done the trick. Both episode numbering conventions are working. Thank you kindly sir.

It gets annoying sometimes but you can always manually file stuff. I can see the logic where you don't want to make Auto-Organize "too smart" and it goes and puts episodes all over the place.
