Can't play subtitles at all

The TCM Network embedds their subtitles into their classic old

mostly black & white movies from the 30's 40's & 50's; when I 

record one of their movies using Emby the subtitles play

perfectly in Plex but are sporadic and out of sync when I use

an Emby client on my Roku or ATV4 media players; I've tried

both ways of checking & unchecking the knob "only download

subtitles that are a perfect match" to no avail; my basic

ignorance is how Open Subtitles plays with Emby because with

Plex there is no Open Subtitles source declared; I suspect that

I'm probably not using Open Subtitles correctly in Emby

With the latest server update subtitles are now showing up correctly in my TCM recorded shows;i have not had a chance to test live tv; this on ATV4 device..have not tested Roku yet..will do so when i get home
