SD Quatro and Emby

 My EMBY server will not recognize my SD Quatro. I can enter an IP and all is good but it will not auto recognize. Do I need to change anything? Right now I am using DHCP to assign the IP so when it changes, I lose the connection. I will assign an IP as soon as I finish everything up..

 

Any help would be appriciated

I'm sorry, it is the SiliconDust HD Homerun Quatro, it is their new OTA 4 tuner device.  It is not found by EMBY like the other HD Homerun tuners (Prime, Connect, etc.) have to manually it by IP address for it to work.

That is odd. Maybe something in your setup? I have a Duo and Quatro device as well as two Extend devices and they are all discovered with no issues.

 

Are you on Windows?

Yes,  the EMBY server is on a Windows 10 system.  It discovered all my other  SD devices.  PLEX discovers the Quatro, as does WMC, but the EMBY server doesn't.  I guess I could uninstall and re-install to see if that fixes it...

I've got the Quatro as well as a few other SD tuners and Emby picked it up just fine.

 

If you open a web browser and go to http://my.hdhomerun.com does it show up?

Is the firmware up to date?

 

What version of Emby are you running?

Do you have any SD software installed on your server machine?
