can't sream 4k movie in browser

Hi,

 

I just installed emby, thinking of switching from Plex.

 

However, I am having an issue. I am trying to play a 4k movie and it freezes after 2 seconds. It doesn't buffer, just freezes. And it happens every time. It works perfectly when using the windows app. I do not have Emby premier  but I tried the 1 minute play test.

 

Any idea why it does this? I tried 3 different browsers Edge / Chrome and Brave.

It looks like you are just not getting fast enough transcoding. Try turning off the subtitles and see if that makes a difference. Thanks.
