No, still starts and stops.

Sorry, Luke, I found another 2 log files from today (trying to do this while at work and didn't have the files sorted by date, so didn't see them). However, one is 731KB and the other file is 55MB. Is there somewhere I can send it to you or do you really want me to attempt pasting them in here? I don't see anyway to attache files to these posts.

Those both appear to be successful runs of the old version.

@@ennex do you have a log from the new version? I suspect that deleting the plugin dlls will allow you to startup successfully. Thanks.

I'd be happy to provide the log, but I don't know where it's located. The logs I provided are the only ones I saw. I don't see any directory for Emby Theater, only the original MediaBrowser Theater.

Ok, so I think I got this figured out. Here's what happened in case anyone runs into the same issue:

I have two Windows accounts on my server: an admin account and a user account. The original install of the Emby Server was installed on the user account (no admin rights). Well, originally it did have admin rights. Later on I created another account to act as admin and downgraded that account to a standard user. The new Emby Server update would not install on this account even though it prompts for the admin credentials upon install. However--I think this is what the actual issue might have been--the admin account was created later after the initial install of Emby, and it was never logged into. So I had an admin account, but never logged in to setup the desktop, etc.

Yesterday, I logged into it and let it do its thing. And behold, Emby Server service loaded just fine (this service would start and immediately stop under the standard user account.)

All my settings were still there, though it seems that my metadata and watched list was wiped--a pain, but not the end of the world.

I hope this may help someone or even the Emby team.

Thanks for the help.
