Where are my OTA channel logos

G'day to everyone. I used to use Emby a long time ago then left because of some shortfalls (IMO). Then started to use other media center apps like Kodi, Plex and others just to name a few. The basic features I was looking for was OTA and XML/m3u channel integration along with a recording function. Most of the ones I tried had some of the features but not all and some didn't work quite well. The feature that kept me from continuing was the EPG out of sync.

Then a month ago or so a friend told me that Emby was able to handle OTA/XML and m3u. I had to think back if I even seen those features but in any event I now have it running pretty smooth for Windows 10.

I loaded in my IPTV service providers URL with appropriate login credentials and WOW Emby pulled in all the data without a hitch including the channel logos. I next linked up Emby with my Hauppauge Quad Tuner for OTA channels and this too connected without a hitch except for the channel logos are missing. So I deleted the XML/m3u URL's to test it out with only my Hauppauge tuner. Again, all the channels were imported but no channel logos. I am using SD as the OTA provider. I would think SD also had channel logos but apparently not. I know there are several places to get them from online but how do I import them into Emby? I know I can add them one by one but is there someplace within Emby that allows an import of them? Or is there another provider like SD that works with Emby and has channel logos?

Thanks in advance for any assistance and great job on this software. Cheers!

Hi, the only place emby gets them from are schedules direct, or your XML/m3u if you're using that.

So in this situation it depends on whether or not schedules direct has logos for your channels.

Hi, has this helped? If you tell me your zip code and which schedules direct lineup you chose i can see if it has logos. Thanks.
