ebr 16169 Posted November 22, 2019 Posted November 22, 2019 Hi is there still a chance that this will work? nothing has changed since a year ago. Hi. This is specifically a problem with DD+ 7.1 audio tracks and the app now works around the issue - as long as your tracks are properly tagged with their audio channel count.
rechner123 12 Posted November 22, 2019 Posted November 22, 2019 What means works around? If i play a video with eac3 it will be transcoded. Stat for nerds says:Reason audio channel is over limit

rechner123 12 Posted November 22, 2019 Posted November 22, 2019 Ok and why is it working with other player e.g. archos?
ebr 16169 Posted November 22, 2019 Posted November 22, 2019 Ok and why is it working with other player e.g. archos? Because they are using different players. The bug has been reported to Google.
rechner123 12 Posted November 22, 2019 Posted November 22, 2019 ok, thanks for the answer and for clearing up! One more question: Is there an external player that supports playback / resume movies? If not, is there an option to use the external player only for EAC3 movies?
ebr 16169 Posted November 22, 2019 Posted November 22, 2019 No, sorry, it is not possible to do that. The change in audio should be relatively minor but hopefully Google will also address the issue.
