Active User playback controls - are they notified?

On the server dashboard there is a list of active devices and options to pause, resume, and stop their playback, plus send them messages. Excluding the message button (obviously), does the user get notified that an administrator paused/resumed/stopped their play back?

Hi, no they don't.

...because it wasn't necessarily an administrator.  You might be controlling your own session with your phone for example.

I understand. I was just explaining why that won't be the case - because it isn't necessarily an action that they didn't know about in the first place (they may have done it themselves from a different device).

 

You can send a message using those same controls if you wish, before performing the actions.
