Mobile client 4K video play Catton, buy graphics card to open transcoding useful?

Transcoding 4K HEVC video enables Android mobile to broadcast smoothly with emby broadcasts. My server CPU is E3 1230 V3, no graphics card, buy 1050 to set NVENC in transcoding. I want Android and tablet-supported video source playback, playing Carton's call server transcoding smoothly. 1050 can the graphics card meet the requirements?

So you want to be able to transcode 4k media so it'll play on your phone? Just one transode? Multiple simultaneous transcodes? HDR or SDR?

I hope to see 4K HEVC videos on the phone end. SDR。My mobile phone is one plus 5, Xiaolong 835cpu. Watch the 4K hevc video Catton with emby's Android terminal.

That phone is 1080. Transcoding 4k HEVC is hard work. Your CPU will probably struggle. An Nvidia GTX 1050 will be able to transcode that video, but can only perform 2 transcodes, at the same time.
