Got love SageTV this is one thing that dose better then everybody else with out deleting any tuners as it can remapping channels along side with mulit EPG on the fly because of it advanced features.

It does not work with SageTV do you know something I don't ? I only had to map 19 OTA channels all others were picked up.

Yes it not that hard to do let say you have a HDHomeRun Quatro you need just assign 3 tuner to local Cable EPG and leave the last tuner map to OTA EPG then from channel setup you can remap channel 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 to all the OTA channel from the local Cable EPG feed because I'm sure some of the OTA channel are not on Cable EPG.

But I recommend just add another HDHomeRun Quatro and assign 4 tuner to local Cable EPG and leave one of the HDHomeRun Quatro assign to the OTA channel.

I think but no 100% sure with Emby you be able used mulit HDHomeRun device and just assign one to Cable EPG and other device to OTA EPG feed

I followed your instructions from your previous post, but my guide is spotty.  Some on the new channels have data, but about half don't.  Also, how did you map your OTA channels...

Thanks

he used what ever was available from the Cable EPG

Why not just add the OTA lineup as well as the cable lineup? Wouldn't everything get automapped then? You can have up to 4 lineups.

Hmm. I wonder why some people are having issues over on the SD forums? Possibly the feeds you receive depends on where in the country you live?

Doesn't work that way as there assign per device how ever Luke could change the way that works

Probably … I know when they first offered it I compared the 50 or so channels to what was on Cable and they all checked out with the right times. I did before it was officially released.

I don't see why not. When adding a lineup there is an option to "Enable for all tuner devices" which is default TRUE. I guess I am not understanding what that means for individual tuners.

Ok, thanks, that was my question.  I did not "see" those 3 little dots on the side.  Now I will do some mapping.

Edit:  As I try to **map** my broadcast channels, I don't see the sub-channels to map.......  What am I missing?

Yes, I had that part.  But a lot of the guide data did not show up.  I will try some re-mapping.

For those of you that are re-mapping your channels - do your channel logos change as well? I just spent about 15 minutes re-mapping but the logo stays the same even though the guide data is now correct.

You need have more then one device then besure that Enable for all tuner devices is check

For example you one are pair of dual or quatro assign one device to an OTA EPG and 2nd device to a your local Cable EPG or just add 2nd Schedules Direct that point to your local cable

The remap both to properly match the across the device check and uncheck and remap to corresponding TV broadcast provider
