heula 192 Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 (edited) Lately I have double seasons in my series and I don't know how this happens. When I delete one of the double seasons in the webclient it returns back after a while. First I thought it had something to do with using both metabrowser and MBS metadata fetching but when I delete all metabrowser generated items and close metabrowser the same issue happens. Then I thougt perhaps it generates two of the same seasons for future episodes and then combines them but it looks like this is not the case either so I am out of ideas. What could be causing this? Server log These are some examples but there are more then these three series. Edited April 6, 2014 by heula
ebr 16178 Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 I notice one of them has a path and one doesn't. Luke - does this mean one of them is virtual and somehow got left behind when the real one showed up?
Koleckai Silvestri 1154 Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Virtual seasons and episodes will hang around until a full library scan is done. You can also get double if the series is added twice for some reason. I would delete a couple and run a library scan from the scheduled tasks page. If they show up again, then it is either naming or there are extra files somewhere in the library.

snazy2000 344 Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 I had the same issue few times. Are you using MCM?

heula 192 Posted April 8, 2014 Author Posted April 8, 2014 Think I found it. Deleted all metadata folders from within the season folder as well as the season.xml file (generated by metabrowser I think). Then refresh the data in the webclient an ran a library scan. After that the double seasons were gone. Still wondering why this is with some series and not with all of them?
