Any Time Frame When Dvd Menus Will Be Functional?

Are Dvd menus coming to theater soon?  Also, are Blu-ray menus on the table or are their licensing issues which will prevent this from happening?  Thanks.

MBT supports external player launching, so you should be able to use this in conjunction with a program like PowerDVD or Total Media Theater if you want menus. I'm no developer, but it seems extremely unlikely that menus (especially blu-ray menus) would be integrated into the internal player.

I think the approach we are trying to take is to make the menus obsolete .

 

With our chapter and special feature capabilities as well as audio and sub-title selection we pretty much have everything you would get out of a BD menu with a more streamlined container such as mkv.
