Manually added genres doesn't show in the "Genres" view

Added a genre "XXX" to a track. When I go to the "Genres" view, no "XXX" genre is shown.

Understood but, why?

 

Isn't easier to just post the new relationship and the new genre if necessary to the server and make the server update the database? Basic MVC behavior.

 

Don't get me wrong, your work is wonderful and your app is 99% near to be my app of choice, but I feel you rely too much on batch processing in a realtime world.

Sometimes i post them manually here in the emby community, but since they have to be built on a Mac it's not integrated into our automated build server and that's why you don't get every single beta.
