Sorting Not Working

For some background I primarily use the Android app on an Nvidia Shield TV and things work fine through that.

 

But I sometimes use a Roku TV with the Roku app of course, and sorting a library does not work. A-Z works but if I try to do Release Date or Date Added, it just sorts it by Z-A instead. This persists after uninstalling and reinstalling the app and happens with every library as well.

 

Any ideas?

Hi.  I just tested this and it appears to be working properly.

 

What version of the server and app are you using?

Server is 3.5.2, Roku TV app says 3.0.97 within Settings in the program but 7.0 when I download it from the Roku store.

 

This is an Insignia Roku TV, not an actual Roku device. Unsure if that matters.

And the exact same views with the exact same sorts are different in the web app or Android TV?

My preferred sort is Date Added. That works through the web on my server PC and on my Nvidia Shield TV with the Android app, but on this Roku app it just displays everything in reverse alphabetical order.

Can you show us a screen shot of the same library view sorted the same way but showing differently in the two apps?

Uhh... Probably not for the content in question, no. :|

 

I did test further and it might just be for all Home Video libraries. I added a new TV Show library and that works.
