Help with movie images

Hello

 

for some reason my server is not displaying a lot of movie posters for some reason. I had them all downloaded at some point, but they disappeared. I tried to refresh all metadata and it doesn't  do anything. The only thing that works is if I go to identify and one by one add images which i don't really want to do.

 

1. why did my pictures all delete and why can't I add them?

2. what can i do to fix this?

 

I want to reinstall but I don't want to lose my users account and everything I setup is there a way to back this up?

 

I wanted to try the beta to hopefully fix my issues, but the github doesn't have a setup file it's only files how do i install this?

 

I also have the same issue that I have been having for a long time. When watch shows on my apple tv the shows just skip randomly especially if you try to rewind or fast forward. The show will usually just changes to another show completely.

 

Any help with these issues would be appreciated. I have emby premier too.

You can delete the cache and that will fix the problem.  This can and does happen from time to time.  It's annoying.  If you had done a quick search, you would have noticed there are multiple posts about this.  It is also possible it might just be your client which has corrupted images in it's cache.  Try browsing your server from another device that you don't normally browse it from and see.  If it does still have the issue, clear the cache folder on your server.  If it doesn't than your device is the culprit and you'll need to clear the cache on that device.

 

Server logs will also help.
