z3ndra 7 Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 Hello I have a question, when we activate the display option "show background images" which file is changed in the system folder? because I explain, I can activate it because on my server I think it makes it better aesthetically. And for some reason, it turns off all by itself on all accounts users. therefore, I have to go to all the users and change every time this setting is annoying. So if I know where the option is activated in the system, maybe it is possible to make this option is enabled by default. Because there must be a variable that tells the software that this option is disabled by default, right? thank you in advance
Luke 42077 Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 It's a per device setting so each user will need to set it on their own.
z3ndra 7 Posted August 18, 2018 Author Posted August 18, 2018 (edited) but there is no way to activate it in the system so that it is activated by default in a session? if not, why is the option disabled at all times? Edited August 18, 2018 by z3ndra
Luke 42077 Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 There currently is no way. It is disabled by default because the backdrops can be slow to load on remote connections.
z3ndra 7 Posted August 18, 2018 Author Posted August 18, 2018 (edited) I meant that sometimes the option goes off by itself, do you know why? Edited August 18, 2018 by z3ndra
Happy2Play 9780 Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 I meant that sometimes the option goes off by itself, do you know why? What do you mean? If you mean anytime you use the "Back Arrow" backdrops don't work this is a known issue.
z3ndra 7 Posted August 18, 2018 Author Posted August 18, 2018 in fact what I mean is that the box "display the background images" in the settings, is unchecked alone.
Luke 42077 Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 I meant that sometimes the option goes off by itself, do you know why? Because it is a separate setting per device/browser.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 Note if your browser history gets cleared, it resets this setting also.
Luke 42077 Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 Yes that's correct. @@z3ndra please let us know if this helps. Thanks !
cochize1 55 Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 If you mean anytime you use the "Back Arrow" backdrops don't work this is a known issue. Has there been any solution to that? I have just made a post about that in Synology threads? Is there a fix? Maybe custom css?
