Studio Images

I've just browsed the studio section of movies and things have all gone pear-shaped again. There are three issues:

 

• The included studio images are now displaying with a film strip edge ? When was this introduced and can it be turned off. I want to stick to the standard metro look
• Also my local icons in imagesbyname\studio are being ovberridden by the standard ones now including for ones which are missing off the server. If I manually add them via the edit images section they gradually resort back to the blank missing ones from the server.
• The studio cleaner does not seem to be functioning correctly - for example in studio cleaner I only have Marvel Enterprises however in the movie studio view I now see Marvel Enterprises, Marvel Entertainment & Marvel Studios.

 

The issues may be unrelated but it is a real pain as the meta-data was clean with a set of working images. Can the fetching of studio metadata be turned off for all movies without having to set it manually for each movie ? I am tempted turn off all metadata fetching at the moment as my views are being screwed up

Your images are not being overwritten, it is just that the web client is displaying the thumb images rather than poster/primary. you can turn off the downloading in the metadata config

Film edge sounds like a cover art treatment. I don't have this addon installed and don't have the issues that you are describing.

Some sucess -

• Thanks Wayne Luke - I found this in Coverart under the Thumb treatment. I was looking for a treatment for Studios not a generic thumb but found it now so trhumbs are correctly displayed with no film treatment.
• The images are still being overridden by the internal ones (not overwritten) The imagesbyname folder contains both folder and thumb images for all of my studios. However if internally there is not image then the studio image is blank not the one from my imagesbyname folder.
• Still cannot get studio cleaner to remove unwanted studios
