jnedbalek 1 Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 I have two different tv shows. One is the US version and one is the UK version. I have them in separate folders and even have it say Show Name (US/UK) and then the year. However they're all grouped together. THis is annoying becaue the UK version was two seasons and the US version was five yet they're overlapping. How can I re name these so they'll show up as separate shows? I've even tried adding in teh TVDB ID number
naeonline 27 Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 Here's what I would do: Move both of the series folders out of the Library location. Delete any locally saved metadata that is within those series folders. Do a refresh on the Library. Turn on metadata saving to the folder (for .nfo, images not as important) if you don't already have it on. Move one of the series folders back into the Library location Do a refresh on the Library In the MetaData Manager for Emby, make sure it got recognized as the correct version (US or UK). Correct this if not then do a full refresh on the series selecting to replace existing metadata. The metadata (.nfo files) should be in the series folder now, so move the series folder out of the Library location again. Do a refresh on the Library Move the other series folder back into the Library location Do a refresh on the Library In the MetaData Manager for Emby, make sure it got recognized as the correct version (US or UK). Correct this if not then do a full refresh on the series selecting to replace existing metadata. Move the other series folder back in to the Library location again. Do a refresh on the Library. Turn off metadata saving to local folders if you had it off previously.
Luke 42081 Posted August 20, 2018 Posted August 20, 2018 The other thing you can do to force them to separate is change the per library option about grouping series folders to be turned off. You can configure that for your TV library. Then run a library scan. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks !
