Notification emails?

Wonder if this is possible to send a new email every time when a new video added to the libraries ?

If you enable the "New content added" Notification and install the Email Notifications plugin, then you can do that.

I am having troubles making it work with gmail.

Yes and I found the reason - gmail must use app generated password.

Would be great to send notifications on removal as well.
