Emby (3.5.2.0) - Books - Failure to show up correctly

Version 3.5.2.0

 

Follows the books naming guide and nothing shows up.

 

Used the identify feature to search for pulp fiction and nothing shows up.

 

Every other part of the server works.

 

What am I doing wrong?

Hi there, how did you set this up in Emby?

I selected the content type books and pointed it to a directory which had just one PDF called Pulp Fiction (1994).pdf in it.

 

It scanned but nothing showed up.

 

So I select Identify and searched for Pulp and nothing was displayed.

 

I reviewed the directory structure info but can see no reason for failure.

Hi, try creating a sub-directory Pulp Fiction and then put the pdf in that. Let us know if this resolves it. Thanks.

Annoyingly it made no difference nothing was picked up and the identify showed nothing.

Root shows the share root

Pulp is the book inside the share called Pulp

Ok that's strange. I would suggest trying again with the next release as there are changes related to this area. Thanks.
