Remote Control from Android app of Emby client on Smart TV not working

Hello,

 

   I am running the Emby client for Samsung Smart TV 1.0.29.  I have a 2017 Premium model and those are laging behind awaiting Samsung quality control.

 

   I am often playing music on my outside speakers and enjoy controlling the music playing using my Emby app on my Android phone.  I am able to do this with my HTCP running Emby Theater without problem.  I am trying to do the same thing when playing the music from my Samsung TV using the Emby client for Samsung.  On my Android app, when I click Remote Control I see the TV showing up.  I can select it.  But nothing happens.  I cannot see what is playing or change the music.

 

   Is this normal?  Is the remote control function supposed to work for the Emby for Samsung Smart TV app?

I figured that might be it.  I'll definitely give it a try.... whenever it is available to my TV!

Confirmed to be working now on 1.0.44.
