In order to invite guests you need to first link your Emby account to this server.

I have had a server going for awhile. somehow someone had my account so i deleted it and now I'm getting this error when trying to invite someone. how do i link my emby account back and make sure its admin like before?

Go to Dashboard-Users-Select your User and fill in "Emby Connect username or email address".
