thekingswolf 48 Posted August 13, 2018 Posted August 13, 2018 Up till recently, I make a collection in my emby server and it shows up as a set in Kodi, no problems. Now, movies will randomly dissapear from the set. It's still fine in emby, but in Kodi movies will just randomly start showing up in the normal list of movies instead of being in the set. Often, the set is even using one of the missing movies as it's cover art. Anyone else having this issue? I'm using addon mode.

arztonyou 17 Posted August 13, 2018 Posted August 13, 2018 What happens after you perform a manual sync? Is the problem fixed? I used to get this issue a lot right after the collections were created, but it would be fixed after a manual sync.
thekingswolf 48 Posted August 14, 2018 Author Posted August 14, 2018 a manual sync (repair database) fixes it, and then after a while it happens again. it's not always the same movies the drop out of the collection after i fix it either. it's random
CashMoney 94 Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 thekingswolf, just out of curiosity, can you/have you turned on sets within movies (Settings - Media - Videos - Show movie sets)? The reason I ask is there is a possibility (I'm hoping!) we have a similar issue. I currently have 78 box sets/collections in Emby. If I look in movie sets in Kodi I see 21. It's been this way for me for over a year now. However, if I turn on "Show movie sets" in Kodi, I can see all the "missing" sets at the beginning of my Movie collection, with the 21 other sets that are seen listed alphanumerically within the movie library as expected. The really odd thing is, I have 2 kodi installations. Like you, I sometimes "lose" a new collection, but a repair and refresh box sets fixes it on one kodi installation, but not the other. Just thought I'd chime in incase this helps (either of us) diagnose the issue/s. 1

I do lose sets, but it's not always complete sets. mostly it is one or several movies dropping out of the set randomly. Kodi setting to show movies in sets is turned on. Angelblue, refresh boxsets does not work. 2

sualfred 677 Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 I don't think it has something to do with it, but to be sure I want to mention it here: In the current stable version of Emby is a very strange collection behaviour for users that have no full access to all libraries. It's enough to disable the access to camera uploads (for example) to partially brake the collection listing (Kodi + web GUI).
