Questions About Naming The Folders, Placing Them In Specific Locations, Etc...

I know I mentioned in my first topic that I was new to this whole thing. So, this is my second time creating a new topic. Forgive me if I ended up posting it in the wrong section or something like that - Please let me know, so I can use that reminders in the near future to be aware where to post it in. 

 

I am aware of the fact that I am not a techy-savvy person nor I have the imitate knowledge of my computer  - inside and outside. I do love media and I want to use them whenever I can or whenever the service is available for me to view it from any place or from anywhere. That would be fantastic.

 

So, let me get to my point. For a long time, I have movies and tv shows in one place by default. I mean it is in default location in C Drive. For example, TV Shows & Movies.But I noticed that while Emby was updating them into the server - that way, I can view them on Apple TV or on my iPhone or anything like that. I can see that there is no need for me to search and paste artwork or picture thumbs etc. They were all updated and arranged. But if I want to use cloud service from third party like DropBox, I notice that I need to search and to artwork or thumbs or anything like that and they needed to be in specific Folder names, etc. Why different? Why not automatically set everything and be done like default location (like Drive C in my PC).What set them apart between those two? I hope what I just explained make sense, you know? I am not good with explaining things technologically that make sense but whatever.
