Actor pictures not downloading

I just started noticing that many of my actor images aren't downloaded, and when I go to the details page, there is an icon. I've tried refreshing and re-scanning, but nothing changes. If I click on the icon, I can click on the magnifying glass, and it finds images. But there are far too many to have to do this one at a time.

No. I uninstalled it, restarted the server, selected replace all metadata and images. Here's the new log

Did you delete contents of your metadata folder recently, or parts of it? because if you did then that would result in the images you see above in your gif. Try running a library scan and a people refresh to make the server aware of any images that you might have deleted.

There were a few bumps when I reinstalled the server. Maybe that caused this. How do I rebuild the people database? Running the schedule didn't help.

I've being doing that, repeatedly. Still no change. And I can't go through every title and do that.

Could the db be corrupt? Do I need to delete it?

So am I going to have to delete the people folder, and rebuild everything? But that still wouldn't fix the cover issue in trailers. That's got the exact same problem.

To me watching the gif it looks like a cache or metadata image issue as you see the broken image when you enter the actor detail page.  Does a actor having this issue have a image in /metadata/people/x/actorname?

 

Do you also have "Download images in advance" enabled per library?

 

Yes deleting the people will create the same issue and force you to do a Refresh All with replace images or basically start from scratch.  As I have had to do this while testing on a test machine.  Emby can honor existing People folder but only on a initial build (from my experience).

Trailers would point to a issue in your *\metadata\channels folder".  Have you done anything with your Metadata folder?

Can you replace this file in your install folder with this version here, then clear browsing data again. Then start the server. Thanks.

Ok, so here's a question. Now that I've installed server 2016, when I look in the emby server folder, there's almost nothing in it   I've selected to make everything visible. What am I missing?
