Guest asrequested Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 (edited) I just started noticing that many of my actor images aren't downloaded, and when I go to the details page, there is an icon. I've tried refreshing and re-scanning, but nothing changes. If I click on the icon, I can click on the magnifying glass, and it finds images. But there are far too many to have to do this one at a time. Edited August 8, 2018 by Doofus

Luke 42077 Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 If you remove the cover art plugin, does this have any impact?
Guest asrequested Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 If you remove the cover art plugin, does this have any impact? No. I uninstalled it, restarted the server, selected replace all metadata and images. Here's the new log
Guest asrequested Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 That log looks ok. what happened after that? No change. Exactly the same as the GIF.
Luke 42077 Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 Are there any errors in the browser console? try clearing browsing data.

Luke 42077 Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 Did you delete contents of your metadata folder recently, or parts of it? because if you did then that would result in the images you see above in your gif. Try running a library scan and a people refresh to make the server aware of any images that you might have deleted.

How do I rebuild the people database? Running the schedule didn't help. Edited August 8, 2018 by Doofus
Luke 42077 Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 refresh the metadata of the media containing the people.
Guest asrequested Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 (edited) refresh the metadata of the media containing the people. I've being doing that, repeatedly. Still no change. And I can't go through every title and do that. Edited August 8, 2018 by Doofus
Guest asrequested Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 And I'm also getting this with newly added titles.
Guest asrequested Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 (edited) The same thing with trailer covers, too Edited August 8, 2018 by Doofus
Guest asrequested Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 Could the db be corrupt? Do I need to delete it?
Guest asrequested Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 So am I going to have to delete the people folder, and rebuild everything? But that still wouldn't fix the cover issue in trailers. That's got the exact same problem.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted August 9, 2018 Posted August 9, 2018 To me watching the gif it looks like a cache or metadata image issue as you see the broken image when you enter the actor detail page. Does a actor having this issue have a image in /metadata/people/x/actorname? Do you also have "Download images in advance" enabled per library? Yes deleting the people will create the same issue and force you to do a Refresh All with replace images or basically start from scratch. As I have had to do this while testing on a test machine. Emby can honor existing People folder but only on a initial build (from my experience).

But I also have this with trailer covers. So it seems as though there's something else going on.

Luke 42077 Posted August 9, 2018 Posted August 9, 2018 Can you replace this file in your install folder with this version here, then clear browsing data again. Then start the server. Thanks. libSkiaSharp.zip
Guest asrequested Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 Ok, so here's a question. Now that I've installed server 2016, when I look in the emby server folder, there's almost nothing in it I've selected to make everything visible. What am I missing?
