mbc0 68 Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Hi, For some reason my TV Organization always shows the status as being skipped rather than completed. I can confirm that the files are successfully copied into the correct places every time & everything works as it should except for the fact that it always says skipped rather than completed. The status used to show completed when I used to move the files rather than copy them so presume it must be something to do with that. Below is my log & screens, Many Thanks 2014-04-04 10:43:59.0742 Info - App: IntervalTrigger fired for task: Organize new media files 2014-04-04 10:43:59.0742 Info - App: Executing Organize new media files 2014-04-04 10:43:59.0742 Info - App: Sending web socket message ScheduledTaskStarted 2014-04-04 10:43:59.1702 Info - App: Sorting file W:\The.Big.Bang.Theory.S07E19.720p.HDTV.X264-DIMENSION\The.Big.Bang.Theory.S07E19.720p.HDTV.X264-DIMENSION.mkv 2014-04-04 10:43:59.2192 Debug - App: Extracted information from W:\The.Big.Bang.Theory.S07E19.720p.HDTV.X264-DIMENSION\The.Big.Bang.Theory.S07E19.720p.HDTV.X264-DIMENSION.mkv. Koleckai Silvestri 1154 Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 If you click on the blue title it should tell you why it was skipped. If you click on the second button on the left ( old style share icon) you can tell the system to sort properly or fix any errors.

Hi, the blue title is un-clickable & if I select the icon (old style share) it just gives me the option to move the file which is not what I want to do as I have set the organizer to "copy" As I said everything is working but instead of giving me a completed status it gives a skipped status?
Koleckai Silvestri 1154 Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 D you have a copy of those episodes in the destination folders? That is the only time I received a skipped status.
mbc0 68 Posted April 4, 2014 Author Posted April 4, 2014 D you have a copy of those episodes in the destination folders? That is the only time I received a skipped status. Nope, they are brand new episodes, it does this for all my tv shows (about 7-8 a week) I did try changing the option back to move instead of copy as a test and it always shows as completed, it just gives the skipped status when set to copy (even though it copies the new episode & adds it to the library perfectly) this is not so much of a problem, just an annoyance as I have to check manually that it has done what it is supposed to do Cheers
mbc0 68 Posted April 6, 2014 Author Posted April 6, 2014 Can any of the Devs confirm if this is meant to happen when copying please? Thanks
Luke 42078 Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 yes, if the destination already exists, or there is already an episode from the same series with the same season and episode number. you can fully automate by allowing it to overwrite, but i probably wouldn't recommend it.

Ok, thanks Luke, just to confirm, the only way I can get MBS to show completed is to use the move option and not the copy? Just seems a little strange as MBS is successfully copying a new episode to my library and the only difference is that the source file is being left in it's source position rather than being moved, so realistically it is completing Thanks for your reply though...
Koleckai Silvestri 1154 Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 (edited) I am guessing it shows completed the first time. Then 5 minutes later, it scans the directory and sees the file again. After trying to move it a second time, it marks it as skipped. Edited April 6, 2014 by Wayne Luke
