Logo design for beginners

Did anyone succeed to design a logo or a business card with logo design software? Can you share some examples of logo and what did you use? I would like the opinion of designers beginners please)

I used https://www.logaster.com/ logo creation software. It allowed me to design a simple but nice logo and I also made business cards with it. It was not expensive and it took not too much time - somewhere 2 days. I am not a professional designer and I did want to hire any, that's why I decided to use this kind of service
