After the server is automatically upgraded, everything is messed up. In the previous version, I marked all the entire media database manually, but after the system was automatically upgraded to the latest 3.5.2, everything changed, and everything was messed up.

     For example, the documentary, I set it up so that I put different documentaries in their respective directories, and then all the documentaries are placed in a directory called a documentary. It can all be recognized. After the upgrade, it was inexplicably chaotic. For example, a season called 18, there are more than 10 documentaries that should be in different directories. Some files are placed in 2 different directories, but they are forced to be placed in the database. In a directory, this is 2 different documentaries. I can't even modify the changes, which makes me very upset.

    I want to know which directory in emby allows me to manually view and modify the content displayed in the database? And I modified a try to lock, obviously locked, but as long as the database is rescanned, the content changes, how does the lock not work?

As you can see from the screenshot, the database has a 1 or 2 name with videos of different contents in different directories. There are even some videos with different content in different names and different names. I set the documentary and TV as TV content, and the movie is set to movie content. Then each media I download is placed in a separate directory of my own. The documentary seems to have no way to identify each media separately in the media library, so I used to manually set each media database and lock it. Normally, each media should be displayed according to the name of each directory. I only need to add a modification lock to the content corresponding to this name. I think your best bet will be using the unset mixed content type rather than the TV content type. The TV content type is much more strict regarding supported folder structure and it may not be a good fit for your library.

You cant really use TV content for documentaries unless you go through and name them exactly for that - but many will not follow the TV logic.

So, as Luke said, set them to something other thatn TV - I personally set mine to Home Videos & Photos content.

Mixed content may not be very good, I have set up mixed content, but it is still very confusing. It is possible to use only family photos and not scan at all, but I feel that there is a big gap. I suggest that emby should add an add-on library to documentaries, not just movies and TV.

You cant really use TV content for documentaries unless you go through and name them exactly for that - but many will not follow the TV logic.

So, as Luke said, set them to something other thatn TV - I personally set mine to Home Videos & Photos content.

That's a shed load of work if you ask me - Mine are easily found by the title - my docs are usually 1, 2 or 3 part - which I add to the title.

I think emby's design in this part is flawed. Just to prevent what you said, I have set up a directory for each documentary in my Chinese. In theory, whether it is TV content or mixed content, I should display the directory in which I use Chinese in the media database. Then inside is the media file. So I just need to look at the Chinese directory to know what the documentary is, so I don't need to consider whether the file naming is in line with the rules. But the problem is that in this case, actually the media files in different directories are mixed together, I did not choose this option in the settings. So I think it is a mistake in programming. Because the old version can be well identified, the new version is only a problem.

Surely recognising the content by directory name will be a nightmare, given what some TV programmes are called - that's why Emby uses the name to check against the online databases (tvdb etc)...

The problem now is that the media database puts a dozen files in completely different directories under a metadata named Season 2, so I open this season 2, showing a variety of different media, and these media are not at all Coherent. I basically follow the naming rules, but I only use Chinese.
