vaise 340 Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 On the linux docker, it does not seem to have a real time scanner like I did in windows. My recordings from tvheadend therefore have no pictures until the full scan - vy default every 12 hours, so I am forced to scan all libs more regularly. Ideally, id like just the recordings to be scanned - every 15 minutes - seeing as their is never more than 10 things in there. Any way to do this ?
Happy2Play 9783 Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 I believe the only way would be like what is discussed here.
vaise 340 Posted August 3, 2018 Author Posted August 3, 2018 Thanks for that - which would be fine if I was still on windows, but I moved to unraid and the linux docker method....... Maybe a future enhancement ?
Luke 42081 Posted August 3, 2018 Posted August 3, 2018 Yes adjusting the scheduled per library could be a nice feature request. Thanks.

vaise 340 Posted August 3, 2018 Author Posted August 3, 2018 (edited) @@Happy2Play - Thanks for those links - the one links to a second which looks like it should be great but after investigation, I think they all call the emby scheduled task though - which is a full library scan....... I want a scan of just one folder with about 10 items. As it is, auto organise has a tick box to do a full library scan when it adds something - so TV/Movies are taken care on - it is just the recorded Tv library. The best solution is to be able to add scheduled scans per library yes luke..... beg beg. Edited August 3, 2018 by vaise
darkassassin07 652 Posted August 3, 2018 Posted August 3, 2018 (edited) Is this any help? I was trying to to something very similar to get images from my security camera added to the library asap. Im not using it anymore, but I had a script grabbing files from an ftp server then triggering a scan for that library. https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/50862-trigger-a-library-rescan-via-cmd-line/ Edited August 3, 2018 by darkassassin07
