Sign out issue

I was able to reproduce the glitch on .96 I mentioned earlier with being prompted with the choose user screen even though I have remember user enabled. See video (sorry quality isn't the best).

@@ebr the one @@Lane03 mentions above, its the same bug as the "sign out" bug I found and you fixed. Only it affects "select server" button this time..

 

1) From homescreen press * key on roku remote

2) Choose change server

3) Pick server and user

4) App will stop on nothing screen, just overhang, no spinner present.

5) Press back on the roku remote, now back on original homescreen before you pressed *.

Okay, yeah, this is an issue with that "Sign Out" option.  I really don't even know why we need that but it doesn't get tested a lot.

 

For clarification - if you sign out explicitly like that, the remember user is lost.  That's why I don't think the option is really needed as it isn't necessary for normal usage and isn't necessarily clear the impact it has.  "Switch User" is sufficient IMO.

It is currently hidden behind the "select server" option.  I'd like to see us re-design that a bit.

Gotcha. Yeah, it would be nice if there was an actual "switch user" button at the bottom of the home screen - by settings, exit, and search.
