Windows AD and LDAP plugin

I am a bit confused of what LDAP plugin can do. I would like to have the following scenario:

 

I have Emby Server running on a windows machine with Active Directory services running. I would like to import users into Emby from the Active Directory or at least manage them via Emby. Is there such a capability?

Hi, the purpose of our ldap plugin is simply to allow your ldap users to sign into your emby server using their ldap credentials.

 

There is no pre-import, rather they are imported as they each sign in. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.

I have been testing using more generic LDAP test tools, but in our LDAP testing thread you can find others running active directory:

In fact where is the LDAP plugin.

As today I bought a premier subscription, but still there is no LDAP plugin under the general or any other plugin section.

Is it coming back ?

Hi, it's been there since the plugin was released and has not been removed. I just checked and was able to see it now. What version of Emby Server are you running? Thanks.
