Benoire 0 Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Hi I've got a 'kids' user account setup without a password for my kids to access, with it restricted to NZ-PG as the limit. Unfortunately, some of the films that we allow our kids to watch have a higher rating, such as NZ-M but as a result of the NZ-PG limit, these do not show in their account and we have to log in to the 'adult' account to get access to them. Is there anyway to specifically add individual items to their list that are rated higher? I've noticed the 'Block with Tags' area, which is quite hard for large libraries, could be utilised to do it in reverse and have no age limit but then each film that I do not want them to see would require a tag to block it... Is there a simple way, or do I need to create a new tag and apply it to movies I do not want them to access? Thanks, Chris
mastrmind11 722 Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 There's been a FR out there for quite some time to reverse the way blocking with tags works, since as you said, in it's current form it's entirely counter intuitive and impossible with large libraries. Go search the feature request sub and Like the first post.
ebr 16207 Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Hi. Yes you can do this with the current system. Simply edit information on the films which you would want them to be able to see and change the "Custom Rating" to one that falls within their ability to see. Thanks.
