Jack Burton 98 Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 Haven't added to a collection in a while so I don't know if it's a recent update issue. When I try to add a movie, the add to collection screen pops up as usual, but I can't select any collections. The drop down menu only has "new" as an option, the collection list doesn't show up
Luke 42081 Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 This is happening for some users who don't have access to all libraries enabled. We're looking into it. Thanks. 1
doffactory 3 Posted October 13, 2019 Posted October 13, 2019 Any update on this? I believe I ran into this problem. Running emby via docker, and the file/folder ownership is correct. Whenever I want to add a new collection to the existing list, I see a never ending loading circle...

doffactory 3 Posted October 13, 2019 Posted October 13, 2019 Every issue can be different, can you go over a specific example. Thanks. The specific example is pretty general: docker running on a server, everything works, but when I click on a movie to add to Collection > New Collection > Save the circle is never ending, no particular errors in logs, just never ending saving. As soon as a hit somewhere else on the screen the saving is interrupted and forgotten. Nothing gets saved as New collection. I already have other collections, the file/folder ownerships are the same as for the rest of functional emby. What this means is that something is broken with adding New Collections.

First I would enable debug logging (Dashboard-Logs). Enabling and disabling this option requires a server restart to start and stop this logging level. Then provide a debug log of you trying to create a collection. Does the user have access to the Collection library (Dashboard-Users-the user-Access-library access)? @@doffactory Also are your items multiversion? Edited October 13, 2019 by Happy2Play
