Bearus1987 3 Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 I have a weird issue and not sure if been blocked by my public IP address but I create a lot of emby accounts on the community for my customers and I keep getting this weird error. It creates the account and then shows 'your not allowed to join this community'. I get completely stuck I can't back out and have to clear browsing data. Only does it when on my Wi-Fi so can admin check for me please against my IP to see if I am in some sort of way blocked. I have to disconnect Wi-Fi and use mobile data to create accounts now.

Appreciate you unlocking the above two users.Any chance of whitelisting my IP range so this doesn't happen again?

Good day, We do not blocked IP's from within the community forum unless we force for if the range are spammers as example, so we do not have black/white list in general. The "email address" for the account, that if for example either it listed as blacklist (spammers or whatever), then it will be blocked. I hope I explain the issue in clear matters. My best

Good day, I think you misunderstand the issue here, not many times free ride will happens. You should know the email address that you provides for your users, if start to happens it's failed under spammers or any others issue not acceptable here, then your IP will get banned. This the last thing we like to do, until we force to do it. My best
Bearus1987 3 Posted August 1, 2018 Author Posted August 1, 2018 Hi,What I mean is I don't seem to understand the block or spammer as you mention so if I explain what I am doing it might help a little easier. I have a Emby Premiere 1000 Subscription and I have users that I add to my Emby server / servers and when they join the server they provide me with an email address of theirs and I go to the Emby site from my phone and create them an account.Reason I create the account it is easier for them and I can then pin the users myself onto my server. It was really awkward having to explain to users how to pin as some were really struggling. I think this is the issue you see that when on my mobile phone at home on my WiFi I may have been creating a few Emby accounts that are fully genuine from my phone and your system has flagged multiple accounts being created from my IP Range. I have no other way of getting around this unless you can suggest another method at all?I certainly won't be abusing the system or spamming in anyway all the accounts I create for my users are valid email addresses and it's only recently this problem has been happening when I create an account and it comes up saying your not allowed in the community and instantly my users email is then blocked and I can't do anything. My other issue is a user from the other day, Miles Shrimpton I signed him up and it doesn't seem to have verified the account even though I did everything my end. I will see if I can get my users to start creating the accounts themselves by me inviting them to my Emby panel and see if I can control it this way.Thanks for the feedback on this though, it's much appreciated !!
