PhyberApex 16 Posted July 28, 2018 Posted July 28, 2018 Hey, after an update from 3.3.1 to 3.5.1 all my theme videos (backdrops folder) and theme music (theme-music folder) were gone and not playing anymore. After a library rescan they are playing again. BUT they are not visible in the Web-UI. Also I did notice a behaviour that was already present in 3.3.1 if I have theme music+theme videos for a TV show and I disable theme videos and leave theme music enabled in my user preferences theme music is not playing. So if I have theme music AND theme videos it is not possible to play the theme music by configuring it accordingly in my user preferences or at all after updating to 3.5.1 as it is gone from the UI. ~Cheers

I kinda used that feature a lot to play the ending/opening songs and videos of tvshows I am watching. With them being gone I can't play them via emby anymore. Is there any plan on bringing them back in some different way? As for the preferences not working I'll wait for the next release. ~Cheers

Because it really sucks that I can't play them anymore in emby. Maybe put them in specials season or just next to the season under theme-media or something. ~Cheers

I dont mind you having it your way (thats your perogative as System Architect) IF you give configuration options (even hidden) to people to bring it back "how it was". People "buy in" to emby for various reasons and they can be very small. It is a shame when those users loose features they use. Krs Mark 4
