App needing to be force closed on iPhone X?

Since I’ve been using Emby app (paid) for the last few days I’ve noticed that if i try opening the app after i have minimized it for awhile (hours), it won’t load. It opens to a black screen without any start up image... just frozen. I have to force close the app then open it again to get it to work right. It’s pretty consistent too... anyone else seeing this bug?

Hi, yes we've seen this and we're still trying to chase it down. It seems to require certain conditions to happen and we're still working on identifying what those are. Thanks.

Hey so I managed to fix this by turning off background app refresh for emby.

Yea facing the same issue. Mostly with high-end apps and games crashing mostly even with iOS beta 12.

This is resolved in version 1.5.7 of Emby for iOS. Thanks guys.
