No ‘Also Appears In’ Function for Custom Cast Members

I run a number of ‘Home Videos & Photos’ libraries containing only videos. I manage all of the metadata for these manually and create my own custom cast members etc.

 

All of this works great, apart from: when I select one of my custom cast members, I am not shown the other videos they appear in (as I would be if their other media was in a TV / Movies library).

 

Is there a way that I can enable this?

 

I have tried removing one of these libraries, and re-importing it as a ‘Mixed’ library, but this completely trashed my metadata.
